YFL Training and Bethshan International Church supported those within the local community to achieve a suit of courses to help the unemployed into work or start their own business.
The vast majority of learners undertook more than one learning aim. 101 learners took a total of 318 qualifications with the most popular being the Level 2 Diploma in Personal Development for Employability.
Learners who started the course and completed all the learning and assessment.
The withdrawal rates are very low – the vast majority of learners who start a course also complete it.
The overall achievement rate across all 302 qualifications completed is 98%.
Within one month of finishing learning 10% of learners had found employment.
Within 3 months of finishing learning 25% of learners had found employment or were working in these own business/community interest group.
In general, the overall feedback was extremely positive. Examples of comments from students include:
