August 10, 2020 1389 0 YFL Uncategorized

YFL Training, in partnership with Equalities and Human Rights UK Limited and SFJ Awards, is pleased to recognise and congratulate the first cohort of learners to graduate with the SFJ Awards Level 5 Diploma in Early Intervention and Family Support and the SFJ Awards Level 6 Diploma in Early Intervention and Family Support  Supervision.

The purpose of the Diplomas in Early Intervention and Family Support is to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills of those whose role involves them coming into contact with individuals and families who may benefit from Early Intervention and Family Support.

A key aim of the qualifications is to provide a common standard in Early Intervention across the country and different sectors, which will facilitate multiagency and multidisciplinary working.  They are relevant to a wide range of settings and sectors, including:

·       Health and social care

·       Police

·       Fire and Rescue

·       Early years such as playgroups, schools and children’s centres

·       Criminal justice

·       Older people’s services

·       Charities/organisations which deal with vulnerable children, young people and adults

The graduates, who are drawn from all over the country achieved their qualification through YFL Training. They received their certificates at a Graduation Ceremony at Sheffield University on 19th June 2016.  Dean Thomas, Managing Director at YFL Training said, “We are so proud to have been able to support the learners in the recognition of their skills and knowledge through these extensive qualifications”.

Adrian Jackson, Managing Director at SFJ Awards said: “We congratulate those learners who have achieved these important qualifications.  We recognise the hard work that they have put in and they should rightly be proud of their achievement.”

Kelly Dewick of Equalities and Human Rights UK said: “We congratulate all of the Graduates for their success which is so well deserved.  We also thank all of the Local Authorities, Foster Care Associates and the other employers from the Private, Voluntary/ Community and Co-operative sectors along with BIS and SFJ Awards for their visionary input to bring it to fruition with us. The qualifications were much sought after and endorsed by over 25,000 employers in the Early Help field here in the UK.”
